COLOR
Deep Cherry red with ruby reflections. Clean and bright.
AROMA
Good intensity with hints of blackfruit, spicy notes and
tobacco leaf. Good expression, serious, wide, notes of
eucalyptus and aromatic herbs with an elegant finish.
PALATE
An expressive, pleasant, well-wrapped, full-bodied and well-balanced attack. Notes of rime red fruits, cinnamon, violets and mentol notes in the background that add depth. The tannin is soft and gentle, with a good acidity that provides a
long and expressive finish.
It can be enjoyed over the nest 5 years.

BLEND AND ORIGIN
The tinta de toro (100%) grapes endured a tough first half of the year – hit first by frost and then a polar cold snap – yet the resulting wine was no less powerful and structured than usual thanks to this grape type's thick skin. After spending 14 months in French oak barrels (80% second use) with racking taking place every four months, the wine was bottled in June 2019.
