Veuve Clicquot Rosé’s is a reflection of the House’s perpetual ability to innovate and audaciously lead the way. More than two centuries ago, rosé champagnes were elaborated by coloration with a mixture made from elderberries. But this method didn’t satisfy Madame Clicquot.

She broke with the accepted practice and instead blended in some of her fine Bouzy reds with her classic champagne. Her talent in the art of re-creation gave us the world’s first known blended rosé champagne ever in 1818! The process endures today, and Veuve Clicquot Rosé continues to share this audacious, ingenious spirit with the world.

BLEND AND ORIGIN

Veuve Clicquot Rosé has a luminous color with attractive pink glints. The nose is generous and elegant, with initial aromas of fresh red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes (almond, apricot and brioche). The fresh attack is followed by a fruity harmonious sensation on the palate. The wine is perfectly balanced in the best Veuve Clicquot style of pink champagnes, combining elegance and flair. The wine works its magic – this delectably full champagne can be enjoyed as a true delicacy.
